Week 17 of the 52 week Money savings Challenge: I'm breaking the rules today! I'm taking change from the money pot.

twenty pounds sterling note - 52 week money challenge
Yes, I'm breaking the rules! How? I am only have a twenty pound note, you can see it's different in appearance from the five pound and ten pounds notes. Those are made from some polymer plastic thing. Don't ask me why.

Well apparently its more durable and less likely to be copied and made counterfeit, but the new design is yet to be rolled out to the twenty pound and fifty pound notes. Anyway, I need flexibility in my life and this challenge is getting a bit too much with me looking for change, or putting in IOUs so I'm taking CHANGE. Yes, that's right, I'm taking CHANGE FROM THE MONEY POT!

So I'm putting in a twenty pound note which means I'm getting three pounds back. So after opening the money pot, I dipped  my fingers in the jar and took out the three pounds coins.

I put the twenty quid (pound) note in the jar and that's all.

Now I have my three pounds change. Not sure what I'm going to be using it for though. Maybe I should dave it for next week so I only need to find £15. I think it's too early to do a count down. It will be interesting at the half way point, which will be week 26. Will I get there? Will I continue?

I've got one big to-do item on my list which is to open up an account. Yes, I keep on banging on about it  in this blog post challenge but I really mean it. Perhaps I need a deadline? A delivery date? Okay I'll say by the end of June, that is midway into the year, and it gives me a couple of months to sort out.

The only issue with banking the cash is that it will harder to spend, like I mean harder to access, oh well, I guess that is whole point of savings.

My African American & Black Love Romance Adventure Nearly Ready After Four Years.

Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to read this. This post is going to be about my upcoming black love and African American contemporary romance release, which I think tentatively will be late this year or early 2024. It will be a six-part serialised novel, and I'll reveal the date nearer the time. It has been five years since my last black love romance novel. I have two novellas published on Amazon, and I'm  pleased to finally say, I'm about to publish again. It's been a long time.  I planned to release this book in February 2019, but after a long writer's block and other things, it had taken me this long to complete it.  If you follow this blog on and off, I've spoken about it a lot over the years. I'm thinking maybe I should relabel those blog posts as a series of how it developed.  The Story Description The names have changed well from Angelica to Pippa but it's fine.  Everyone wants someone special but PIPPA MILLER thinks not her. Lost Four Pounds! Attended Pilates! Watched Patricia Bright

On Friday my boss got bored of me talking about my eating plan and how I only used my gym for the spa facilities, so let's just say I forced to put my money where my mouth was and ended up booking five exercise sessions. Yes, hard to believe I've been with my gym for over a year and have NEVER ATTENDED A GYM CLASS. Mainly, because I like the spa and thing food reduction is the way to lose weight also just thinking of exercise exhausts me. I needed to book them via the website but having never done it, my password failed so I rang, in front of my boss, the gym to book it. Proof. They are mainly low impact classes so nothing too strenuous or so I thought. Come Saturday, I'm down the gym for my pilates class with all these fit, slim and trendy people. It's a 9AM class so basically like a work day for me. I thought pilates was gentle. Not. I say this having done it for about three years in a dance school - yeah I was once about twenty pounds or ten kilos lighter - and the

HAPPY NEW YEAR - LET THE GOALS ROLL

Hello all. Happy New Year! So last year was awesome for me because I managed to achieve one goal. The biggest goal which was to get a new job. And that came with financial reward as well. Yay! It was hard, challenging, horrible. I hate change but I had to get out of the rut I was in. Dudes, I was desperate to move. So I dug deep, did my interview practice, attended a number of interviews and hit one. Yay. Now longer gaming. I didn't need the escapism with my new positive work environment. I also abandoned the iPhone family and went Android. To cut a long story short, I got bought an iPhone 8 but it was faulty - however Apple weren't transparent about their return policy - ALWAYS ASK ABOUT RETURN POLICY. Nor did they believe the phone was faulty. It was. Anyway I was so disgusted the arrogance of the 'apple people', I decided instead of getting a replacement to spend my money elsewhere. I'm still part of the Apple family. But the Apple Store sales assist
