Bad Cold so in bed

This is my third cold in the three weeks, so I'm not sure why I'm rundown. Okay, I know but three bad colds? This is the worst. Anyway, I'm drinking hot fluids and staying in bed. The sore throat is very sore. I'm just really irritable at the moment.

Progress on editing: Schedule for editing and publishing my urban lit African American romance - Leyton and Angelica

This lesson is a lot more tedious and boring than the first. I'm not really sure what I'm doing but I'm sure at some point it will make sense. It's about promises made to the reader  and I'm making a note as I go along.

I'm going to work as much as I can to keep within the time schedule.

Rough Schedule

  • Lessons 1 to 8 are about learning to  diagnose and triage a novel. Due completion 23rd March 2019
  • Lesssons 9 to 17 is about major novel surgery - what ever that is. Due completion 25th May 2019
  • Lessons 18 - 22 is the actual rewrite and revising the novel Due completion 30th June 2019
  • My time: Working alone on the manuscript - Due 31st July 2019
  • Getting it to the copyeditor and proofreader By mid August  2019
  • Publication by 30th September 2019

It may be quicker or slower who knows. I've never done this before so I feel a bit weird putting dates down. Normally I just keeping on working until I'm done.  Doing this course for the first time, I have no idea if this is possible or not. But I'll adjust as I go on.

Novel Action Plan

I work on the novel for at least an hour a day.

My African American & Black Love Romance Adventure Nearly Ready After Four Years.

Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to read this. This post is going to be about my upcoming black love and African American contemporary romance release, which I think tentatively will be late this year or early 2024. It will be a six-part serialised novel, and I'll reveal the date nearer the time. It has been five years since my last black love romance novel. I have two novellas published on Amazon, and I'm  pleased to finally say, I'm about to publish again. It's been a long time.  I planned to release this book in February 2019, but after a long writer's block and other things, it had taken me this long to complete it.  If you follow this blog on and off, I've spoken about it a lot over the years. I'm thinking maybe I should relabel those blog posts as a series of how it developed.  The Story Description The names have changed well from Angelica to Pippa but it's fine.  Everyone wants someone special but PIPPA MILLER thinks not her. She

Lost Four Pounds! Attended Pilates! Watched Patricia Bright

On Friday my boss got bored of me talking about my eating plan and how I only used my gym for the spa facilities, so let's just say I forced to put my money where my mouth was and ended up booking five exercise sessions. Yes, hard to believe I've been with my gym for over a year and have NEVER ATTENDED A GYM CLASS. Mainly, because I like the spa and thing food reduction is the way to lose weight also just thinking of exercise exhausts me. I needed to book them via the website but having never done it, my password failed so I rang, in front of my boss, the gym to book it. Proof. They are mainly low impact classes so nothing too strenuous or so I thought. Come Saturday, I'm down the gym for my pilates class with all these fit, slim and trendy people. It's a 9AM class so basically like a work day for me. I thought pilates was gentle. Not. I say this having done it for about three years in a dance school - yeah I was once about twenty pounds or ten kilos lighter - and the

HAPPY NEW YEAR - LET THE GOALS ROLL

Hello all. Happy New Year! So last year was awesome for me because I managed to achieve one goal. The biggest goal which was to get a new job. And that came with financial reward as well. Yay! It was hard, challenging, horrible. I hate change but I had to get out of the rut I was in. Dudes, I was desperate to move. So I dug deep, did my interview practice, attended a number of interviews and hit one. Yay. Now longer gaming. I didn't need the escapism with my new positive work environment. I also abandoned the iPhone family and went Android. To cut a long story short, I got bought an iPhone 8 but it was faulty - however Apple weren't transparent about their return policy - ALWAYS ASK ABOUT RETURN POLICY. Nor did they believe the phone was faulty. It was. Anyway I was so disgusted the arrogance of the 'apple people', I decided instead of getting a replacement to spend my money elsewhere. I'm still part of the Apple family. But the Apple Store sales assist
