Real Life: Does he like me? Should I ask him for a drink...sort of?

Hello Everyone!

I'm not a teenager any more, nor am I in high school but there is this guy I like and I'm wondering how to go about it...like seeing if there is some attraction or something. Should I ask him out of a drink? I don't know. I could ask him out for a drink. It's a bit all teenagish but this is real life not some romance novel. He's also not my normal type - whatever that is. Not sure.

I'm can quite  bolshy nd apparently stropy....well so I'm told. I'll find a way to ask him out for a drink. Does he like me? Yeah, the signs are there. What signs you may ask if he hasn't asked me out. The signs, so I need to test the signs and the only way by doing that is asking him out for a drink. Well probably get a group together and go for a drink.

What if he says no? Then I'll know he doesn't fancy me. If I do think he fancies me why hasn't he asked me out? Well above I mentioned the signs and I can be quite bolshy as well.

So flirting non-flirting lines. Touch arm  - 'Have you working out?" Only works if man had strong arms. I once did that to a dude who had no muscle tone, and was surprised.

I don't know. However I've liked him for some time so I need to do something either go see if the attraction is real or just a crush. Ya know what I mean. So so so so so it could be

I don't want to chicken out, yet I'm also afraid of starting something. Okay I'll report back on this next week.

Up Date on Happenings: Newly Single & 17% pay raise.

Hey Everyone, So update since my last entry. Well I had a brief fling with Mr Sexy Guy and decided he wasn't the one for me. He was cool but I learned the difference between lust, chemistry and personality. It just didn't tango for me. I'm still grossly overweight, well, fat. I don't think there is anything wrong with being called fat. I am fat. I need to lose weight but that means getting organised and stop eating delicious food. Then again my knees are hurting me and joints feel the ache. I also haven't been to the gym in three months despite paying for it. But when I do, I normally go for the sauna, hot tub and   steam room session. I've thought of cancelling the exorbitant membership but in the climate apart from bills it's the one thing that is just for me...that when I use it. Work is fine, managed to get a 17% pay raise. A big thanks to my boss who also pushed for it. It's good to work for people who support you in that matter. I think tha...

Goals - one thing at a time - weekly or less frequent blog. Yoga was HARD! Still on track with eating plan,

Despites all my good words, I am slipping back into old bad habits and overloading myself with things to do. Distractions. Everything is important. So I've decided to get tough with myself and focus on my major goal. The one that will be most beneficial to me and a causality of that will be writing this blog daily or near daily. So I'm going to be focusing on my major goal and push myself to focus and I think all the other activities, and I mean a lot are diluting from the process. This means getting rid of non-value adding activities. Oh dear, I sound rather corporate. My week so far. If Pilate nearly killed me, then in Yoga was the firing line. OMG! What is it with these gym classes being so dynamic! When I mean dynamic I mean break-into-a-sweat dynamic. I'd never hadn't had such a difficult class - obviously I was the largest. Okay - let's go fat-shaming- don't you just love that word? I was the fattest by a long stretch. And the unfittest. My body was ou...

Show me your desk: Books, magazines, bottle of water, and same old clutter.

Today I have more of a writerly desk, so let's roll. From the far left handside is my writing magazine, I treat myself to it, and it has some interesting articles at times. It's just something I flick though the way other people buy GQ, Vougue or Marie Claire. It's my monthly interest magazine, and no I don't do the writing exercises but then who buys all the clothes, make-up and perfume advertised in the high-end women's magazines.  Next is a bottle of vitamins, this was a gift from Sis. Yes, as you probably realise, Sis is very generous with her gifts as they are normally featured on my desk. If fact the Apple Notebook is also one.  A small fact is that I bought my first phone only two years ago because for the last ten years, Sis gave me all her hand-me-downs. She's very on top of technology - ahead of the curve, wave or early adaptor.  Anyway she got me them because she's into healthy eating and body care, and probably got them on discount. ...
