Hello Internet Family,
Things have been so busy at work and preparing for my self publishing venture. Oh man, it has been a journey and I haven't even started. Anyway, I was reading a magazine left into the office kitchen and discovered an article on Marie Kondo.
So looking round a few articles I've discover a few tit-bits. I have lots of clutter due to my home being refitted and moving stuff from room to room, then having the hectic jobs. I also have massive of books and papers all over the joint. Plus you can read about my story about how I struggled to become an associate.
Anyway I was so deep in clutter, I could not figure a way out. But yesterday, I read the article and decided to try.
I love the folding bit. I haven't read any of her books yet. I mean I have so many so trying to curb the habit. So many books on organisation too -okay about three plus I joined the fly lady group. However I loved the categories not room. Then again all my stuff is all over the joint so it made sense.
A lot of people are making fun of her talking to clothes and all that jazz. But to be fair, take what you want. So not having the massive time available for a deep sorting of loving and supporting clothes, I did a quick sort of the pile around me. I did the whole folding thing even of the stuff I found I didn't need anymore. It was very interesting.
Currently I have three bags of clothes I don't need to 'support' me anymore. However some went back into the pile.
Of course being typically disorganised I'm doing this out of sync. Yes, I had a vision of clear surfaces etc. No I didn't get all my clothes out. I need to do this in stages. But at least I started.
Yay!
