Real Life: Up date on 'I like him' situation

Hey everyone! It's been difficult week with a lot of things going on. I managed to complete a huge goal of mine at work, which was super stressful, using the procrastination book's strategy. It wasn't easy because I stall but eventually I did what I had to do. so Mr Cool Dude and been texting me. Well we have been texting each other, and he's very cute. I like him, though I haven't said that to him nor has he told me. Lots of Emojis flying backwards and forwards. He's very sweet and makes me laugh.  So it's kind of like a textionship at the moment. Nah I lie, we've chatted a few times, like everyday apart from today - well we did briefly. However I've not met him so it's all just non-physical.  Because you get on with someone doesn't mean there will be that attraction in real life. Still he's cute and funny. Nothing is happening with the First Guy. You fancy someone, don't get the opportunity to get to know them in a d...

Real Life: Pre-teen puts on full face of makeup, plus update on man situation and other stuff.

Hey Everyone! I'm a bit of roll today so just take my post in your stride. Went out to the gym, had luck with Fab Mama, and went back home. Thinking of what to do for the rest of the evening, so I decided a blog post. Yay! Pre-teen and makeup.  I just saw the most awful thing today. An eleven year old (or under - definitely not a teen!)  in my family gym putting on a full face of makeup. She was using that stupid Zoella range and some other silly pocket school stuff. Are you kidding me!! I watched frozen with horror as this young child put on primer, foundation then concealer. HER SKIN IS TOO YOUNG FOR THAT RUBBISH!!! SHE HAD SPOTS!!! WHICH PRE-PUBERTY KID HAS SPOTS???!!! THIS WAS NOT DRESS UP MAKE UP SHE WAS DOING, BUT HER PROPER ROUTINE!!! Kids are under so much pressure! Blooding bloggers becoming millionaires - preying on innocent kids. SOD OFF! That stufff is just fucking up her skin! I know because at seventeen a friend started using a certain facial ...

Real Life: Does he like me? Should I ask him for a drink...sort of?

Hello Everyone! I'm not a teenager any more, nor am I in high school but there is this guy I like and I'm wondering how to go about it...like seeing if there is some attraction or something. Should I ask him out of a drink? I don't know. I could ask him out for a drink. It's a bit all teenagish but this is real life not some romance novel. He's also not my normal type - whatever that is. Not sure. I'm can quite  bolshy nd apparently stropy....well so I'm told. I'll find a way to ask him out for a drink. Does he like me? Yeah, the signs are there. What signs you may ask if he hasn't asked me out. The signs, so I need to test the signs and the only way by doing that is asking him out for a drink. Well probably get a group together and go for a drink. What if he says no? Then I'll know he doesn't fancy me. If I do think he fancies me why hasn't he asked me out? Well above I mentioned the signs and I can be quite bolshy as well....

Hunting Down the book called Procrastination.

I went to the library to work on my book, and came across a book called Procrastination by Jane B Burka and Lenora M Yuen. After browsing a few pages I decided to buy a copy. So I went to my local Waterstones, only to be told that they were out of stock and there was a copy lurking in the Piccadilly Circus Branch. Desperate to stop procrastinating I went down to Piccadilly Circus in hot pursuit of this copy. It's a crowded part of town with lots of tourists and teenagers. China Town was looking pretty with all the red lanterns, Leicester Square was looking a tad rough - or maybe its because I haven't frequented it since my teenage and young adult years. Lots of restaurants, souvenir shops and casinos. Walking towards the Eros, I found the moving billboard was just a hoarding so it looked even more messy and tacky.  Piccadilly Circus really needs a good facelift. Anyway got to Waterstones, up to second floor but couldn't find the book! As the bookseller - as ...

Feminine hygiene product care review

Yes, I doing my first review. Normally I'm queasy at the mention of any bodily fluids and I find it icky, even the word period makes me cringe but as I said I'm going to be reviewing stuff. This is the latest new stuff. Feminine hygiene are a very personal choice I only started using tampons a few years ago. When I first tried them a long time ago, I found them very uncomfortable and reverted back to using towels. However now I just whatever, and over the last few used have used them regularly. The choice is very personal because I had an auntie who only used toilet roll. That was what she was comfortable with. She hated pads, towels or tampons and just rolled with her tissue paper. There is a technique she used to make it in a pad but that was her choice. I also know people who would never use a pad or on the other hand a tampon. I use whatever I have at hand but for daytime I'd much rather use a tampon. The New Tampax Compak Pearl I didn't read the instr...

Doing product reviews and sharing things I love like or maybe even hate!

Hello Everyone, Blogging has't been the top of my agenda for a long time because I'm at a lost of what to say or write about. Really. I also think my life isn't that interesting and the interesting things that happen to me tend to involve other people so I do feel it's not my place to share those. However I've been thinking of how I can keep this going and make it interesting. Work has also been super busy as if you're read other blog post you'll realised I'm a chartered associate in a certain profession, I also work in a very small team, and the organisation has a £15 million turnover. It's a medium size but with extremely complex nature so no two days are the same. My interests Writing had taken a huge amount of my time because I'm working on my novel however I'm getting back into my non-writing interests and hobbies.  I do a fair bit of street photography on my phone since I like street art and there are some talented artists out t...
