So what exactly do I write on a writing blog? I have no idea. Sex? Alcohol? Gonorrhoea? Apparently having a blog is a really useful marketing, as well as getting a website but for now I'm still no the wiser. I mean it it just something poeple say to look cool. I just want to write my stories.   I guess it's time to start to visit other writers to see what they do.

Well, it's not exactly a block but I'm trying to figure out what I want to get done in the next 12 months. I'm currently looking doing some stand up gigs which I expect to be un-funny. Then maybe get a new job or a raise. Not the easiest thing but I'm on top of it. Writing wise I have a few things in the pipeline but the biggest issue for me is time. I guess the same for everyone.

Oranges is a heartbreaking portrayal of woman trying to coping with separation and raising two teenagers, Oranges is all the more poignant because we know that, in the end, these things happen in real life. Risi struggles to cope with her husband leaving her as everything descends into chaos with her two teenagers rebelling.    As her mental health deteriorates she embarks on a dark journey where eventually she reaches the ultimate crisis and has to make a decision for her own salvation.    It's taken a long time but I finally took the plunge and published my first short story. There a few more so I'd be doing an anthology of short stories next. It will just be stories I've written in all my creative writing classes. It's available on Smashwords.com
