Show me your desk! Desk clutter with mugs, loose pens and sachets of sauce.

A busier desk than usual. From the lower left hand-side is my marked up synopsis I'm supposed to be working from, and above it is a container with the scene index cards. No, it's not a masterpiece just trying out a lot of editing techniques to find out what works.

Moving clockwise are sachets of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise from my whooper burger. I rarely use the extra sachets given, though I might carry them to work, in case I get chips/french fries or something as the workplace cafeteria charges extra for them. Yes, the even charge for coffee cups.

Next to the sauce sachets are my penholder, china mug, and a pile of stuff. The pile is my pink glasses case, a coaster (I probably should have put the mug on that) and the book on mastery I'm still yet to read. The blue tube is  handy size of hand cream for my bag.

Moving down is my pencil case, calculator, a bunch of loose pens, a pair of glasses and my old glasses case. Next to it is my diary in some box. Then finally my laptop. My laptop is slightly weathered, the piece of tape on the top is piece of tap and paper to block the camera. It's just one day it was on without me activating it so I got all suspicious and put that on it. Sis has brought me a proper devise but that broke. This is okay.

You can see my laptop lead has also has some tape to protect some exposed wires. I've never had this problem with PC laptops but Apple Mac accessories then to wear out quickly in comparison.

My African American & Black Love Romance Adventure Nearly Ready After Four Years.

Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to read this. This post is going to be about my upcoming black love and African American contemporary romance release, which I think tentatively will be late this year or early 2024. It will be a six-part serialised novel, and I'll reveal the date nearer the time. It has been five years since my last black love romance novel. I have two novellas published on Amazon, and I'm  pleased to finally say, I'm about to publish again. It's been a long time.  I planned to release this book in February 2019, but after a long writer's block and other things, it had taken me this long to complete it.  If you follow this blog on and off, I've spoken about it a lot over the years. I'm thinking maybe I should relabel those blog posts as a series of how it developed.  The Story Description The names have changed well from Angelica to Pippa but it's fine.  Everyone wants someone special but PIPPA MILLER thinks not her. She

Lost Four Pounds! Attended Pilates! Watched Patricia Bright

On Friday my boss got bored of me talking about my eating plan and how I only used my gym for the spa facilities, so let's just say I forced to put my money where my mouth was and ended up booking five exercise sessions. Yes, hard to believe I've been with my gym for over a year and have NEVER ATTENDED A GYM CLASS. Mainly, because I like the spa and thing food reduction is the way to lose weight also just thinking of exercise exhausts me. I needed to book them via the website but having never done it, my password failed so I rang, in front of my boss, the gym to book it. Proof. They are mainly low impact classes so nothing too strenuous or so I thought. Come Saturday, I'm down the gym for my pilates class with all these fit, slim and trendy people. It's a 9AM class so basically like a work day for me. I thought pilates was gentle. Not. I say this having done it for about three years in a dance school - yeah I was once about twenty pounds or ten kilos lighter - and the

HAPPY NEW YEAR - LET THE GOALS ROLL

Hello all. Happy New Year! So last year was awesome for me because I managed to achieve one goal. The biggest goal which was to get a new job. And that came with financial reward as well. Yay! It was hard, challenging, horrible. I hate change but I had to get out of the rut I was in. Dudes, I was desperate to move. So I dug deep, did my interview practice, attended a number of interviews and hit one. Yay. Now longer gaming. I didn't need the escapism with my new positive work environment. I also abandoned the iPhone family and went Android. To cut a long story short, I got bought an iPhone 8 but it was faulty - however Apple weren't transparent about their return policy - ALWAYS ASK ABOUT RETURN POLICY. Nor did they believe the phone was faulty. It was. Anyway I was so disgusted the arrogance of the 'apple people', I decided instead of getting a replacement to spend my money elsewhere. I'm still part of the Apple family. But the Apple Store sales assist
